Stavební deník

A diary for your own build, not paperwork for a contractor

Notes, photographs, invoices and dates on one timeline, day by day. Write down what happened, attach the photos, and print a document at the end that holds up in front of a building authority.

Who it is for

You are building it yourself

On your own, with friends, or one trade at a time. You need to know what was done when — and to have something to show for it.

You are renovating your own home

A flat, a house, one floor. A year later the diary tells you when the wiring went in, who supplied the tiles, and when the inspection came.

This is not software for construction companies. No crew timesheets, no approval chains — other tools do that, and they are priced accordingly.

What it does

A timeline of days

Every entry belongs to a day you choose. A photo from last week, uploaded today, sits on last week where it belongs.

Photos and documents

Photographs, PDF invoices, inspection reports. The camera's own date suggests the day an entry belongs to.

Labels that nest

"First floor → kitchen → wiring". Filtering by "everything under kitchen" then finds what is two levels deeper too.

Dates in a calendar

Boiler installation, an inspection, a delivery. A past date shows up in the diary next to what actually happened that day.

PDF export

A simple construction record, or the full diary with the daily points of annex 12 of Czech decree 131/2024 Sb.

Works without a signal

Reception on a building site is poor. Days you have already opened stay readable offline, photographs included.

Writing after the fact is visible

You choose the date an entry is filed under, freely, including in the past — on a site you do not get to your phone in the evening and you write it up two days later. That is normal and the app does not stop you.

But it does not hide it. When the day an entry is filed under differs from the day it was written, both the diary and the export show both dates. Quietly backdating a document with legal weight would not be a feature.
